Adrenaline Activity: Climbing & Abseiling

Our introduction to rock climbing and abseiling sessions are an ideal way of getting into climbing, this is a great adrenaline activity. The aim is to give you the knowledge to keep yourself safe on the rock and the skills needed to take yourself – ideal for people who are looking to get into rock climbing, and for people who want to move on from the indoor climbing wall to the outside.

Climbing Adventure ActivityWe will tailor your session to suit your experience and needs. All aspects of rock climbing will be covered at the single pitch level: route selection, rope work, belays and belaying, and crag awareness. Alternatively, if you just want a fun day out, we can take you to the appropriate location.

Participant Guidelines

We can provide climbing and abseiling to a wide range of abilities, but you will need to be reasonably fit. By this we don’t mean you need to be an athlete but climbing often involves a walk to get to the rock face. The session will be delivered at an age-appropriate level that will also take into account your level of fitness, but the fitter you are the more you will get out of this one!!!

Climbing and abseiling is weather dependent. In the case of adverse weather conditions, an alternative will be offered. Where appropriate, an alternative date may be offered.

Full or half day sessions of climbing and abseiling are available. Sessions run 9:00am – 1:00pm and 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Other timings are available on request.
