Adrenaline Activity: Coasteering

Adrenaline Activity: Coasteering

Coasteering is a high adrenaline activity. It came about through climbers scrambling around sea cliffs to discover new climbs. They then decided that it was a great adrenaline adventure and quite good fun just to do the scrambling bit. Add a wet suit, helmet and buoyancy aid and you are ready to learn how to jump off towering cliffs, forge through pounding surf and explore hidden coves! There you have it – coasteering. Great fun for all, we can offer beginner trips or thrills for the more adventurous, full training provided. We offer half and full day coasteering trips in Anglesey, the Gower and Pembrokeshire. A great activity for your stag or hen weekend!!! New for 2016 advanced coasteering trips. Canoe out to a remote bay and then we start to explore your coasteering trip away from the crowds of plastic helmets and wet suits in the well know locations.

Participant Guidelines

We can provide Coasteering to people with a wide range of ability. You will need to be reasonably fit and definitely be able to swim. However the activity will be delivered at an age-appropriate level that will also take into account your level of fitness. If you are staying in North or South Wales, give us a call and see where the nearest location is to you. Unfortunately the Mid Wales coastline does not lend itself to coasteering so we can not offer anything there.

Weather

Coasteering is very weather and tide dependent. In the case of adverse conditions, an alternative adventure activity will be offered. Where appropriate, an alternative date may be offered.

Duration

Coasteering sessions are available on full or half days. Sessions run 9:00am – 1:00pm and 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Other timings are available on request and dependent on tide.

There is no minimum number required to run coasteering.

There is a maximum of 8 participants per instructor for coasteering sessions. However, we are able to run groups of up to 40.
