Outdoor Activities: Canoeing
Whether you simply just want to give canoeing a go or you have previous experience and you want to develop your skills, our experienced and enthusiastic canoe instructors will provide the activity session you are looking for. Our canoe sessions are an ideal opportunity to learn new skills on the exciting wild waters of Wales. We operate at a wide range of locations all across Wales. We offer a range of sessions from a lazy day cruise down the river to a full on white water experience. We can offer half day sessions to multi-day river expeditions.
For those who want to give it a try, there’s a chance to take your BCU canoe “Star Awards” – your first steps toward becoming an instructor!
We can provide canoeing to a wide age group, however you will need to be able to swim and must be reasonably fit. The activity will be delivered at a level that will also take into account your level of fitness, but you will find it physically challenging to manage a canoe in white water. If you wish to undertake your BCU canoe awards please let us know in advance.
Canoeing is weather dependent. In the case of adverse weather conditions, an alternative will be offered. Where appropriate, an alternative date maybe offered.
Full or half day sessions of canoeing are available. canoeing sessions run 9:00am – 1:00pm and 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Other timings are available on request.
