North Wales is one of the finest rock climbing areas in the U.K, offering a huge  variety of rock types in a compact area. This geological diversity attracts many visitors on educational field trips. Proactive utilize a number of different sites throughout Wales. Our instructors have detailed local knowledge of rock types and the geological processes that formed them.

Pupils will be equipped with all the necessary safety gear and will be looked after by our highly experienced staff.  Our team of instructors have experience of climbing across the globe, from local crags to ‘Big Walls’ and the lofty peaks of the Himalayas. This depth of experience means that we can offer everything from introductory group sessions to advanced coaching.  The instructors will encourage everyone to get involved, whether holding ropes, helping the staff or scaling vertical walls.
