School Activity Trips: Body Boarding

For your school activity trips body boarding is becoming ever increasingly popular on our coastal activity locations. We started offering this activity only in South Wales hostels about 4 years ago, mostly in Pembrokeshire, just as an optional extra, for customers to make the most of the spectacular beach locations that we visit. However, it has now immensely popular and on almost every coastal visit in North and South Wales now, customers are requesting body boarding year upon year. We can offer this activity from: Manorbier and St Davids in Pembrokeshire where it all started, and now in North Wales at Conwy, Bryn Gwynant, Snowdon Ranger and Pen y Pass in North Wales, where we usually head of to Anglesey for a full fun day of water sports based activities.

Unlike surf boarding that usually takes several sessions to master, body boarding can usually be taught in a single session, hence your pupils will have mastered a skill and be enjoying it while other pupils learning surf boarding are still sat on the beach practicing standing up on their board!!! Get where the action is, not the pose!!!

Although we offer this activity in North and South Wales now, it has to be said that Pembrokeshire has some of the best body boarding beaches in Wales. If you are planning to stay with us for the day you can choose 2 activities. In our Pembrokeshire operational activity destinations this activity goes great with either coasteering, climbing and abseiling or sit on kayaking due to the locations of each activity. Choosing a combination of these activities reduces travel time and so of course maximises your time having fun!

Must be able to swim 10 meters unaided.
