Our Qualifications
Safety and professionalism is always our first priority so our qualifications form the bedrock of our organisation. All of our activities take place in a controlled, safe environments with equipment that is carefully inspected on a regular basis. Every day the senior instructors meet before activities begin to review the weather forecast and the days planned activities, then before each session begins the instructors begin with a full safety brief for pupils so they are familiar with the safety aspects of their activity and what to expect from the day.
Our Qualifications: Extensive Training
The company director has over 35 years experience as an outdoor instructor and centre manager. He has managed numerous different outdoor education resources and has practiced throughout Europe and even Morocco. All activities are lead by our National Governing Body Award qualified instructors. All instructors hold at least three years post qualifying experience in leading their respective activities, and all have travelled widely practising and developing their outdoor skills. Many have lead overseas expeditions or worked at overseas outdoor education centres to broaden their experience. Our instructors live for the outdoors and love sharing their experiences and knowledge. We do not use gap year students with only basic training, or cover our activities by in-house training. We believe that the breadth of experience in our instructors greatly increases the quality of our activity provision and will give your pupils that attend our activity programmes a much deeper and rewarding experience.
